Even without a tour slot, the bluff below the light is free and has the best view of the Elizabeth Islands on the Cape.
A calm, shallow-water beach that's the easiest swim on this trip, good for kids and for anyone who wants warm water over waves. Parking fills by mid-morning in summer, so arrive by 9am or plan to bike or walk in instead.
A 10.7-mile rail trail running from North Falmouth down to Woods Hole; you don't need the whole thing, just ride the southern stretch into Woods Hole for harbor and ferry-dock views. It connects easily from Old Silver Beach if you kept your bikes from the morning.
A quiet 1775 farmstead kept by a local land trust, most visitors drive straight past it, which is exactly the point. Walk the short loop to Crocker Pond for a low-key sunset, and skip it after heavy rain since the trails turn to mud.
